The primary idea for this listing came from Deacon Paul Rooney, Mary Our Queen Parish, Omaha who sent out "reflections" via a deacon's chat room. Father McNamara went home to the Lord on May 22, 2008 at the age of 98, the oldest priest in the Diocese of Rochester, New York at that time. His obituary is on the Catholic Courier website.
We have been receiving inquiries as to other works by Fr. McNamara, other than the Saints Alive series reached via the index in the left column. We found a series entitled "All God's Children" which ran in the early-1980's with reflections centering on the readings of the liturgical cycle. These reflections are noted as "Questions: FM"
