Saints Alive

Celebrating 100 years

Saints Alive is published weekly in the St. Thomas Bulletin and is authored by Rev. Dr. Robert F. McNamara.

Father McNamara was ordained a priest in 1936 and was Professor of Church History for over 40 years. These vignettes have been published in our parish bulletin for over 23 years.

Father McNamara welcomes comments about his articles, but he cannot answer requests for more information.

We have received inquiries about other works by Fr. McNamara. Aside from many historical books, he wrote a series entitled "All God's Children", which ran in our bulletin in the early-1980's with reflections centering on the readings of the liturgical cycle. Go to Sunday Reflections to read these articles.
